Job Summary:  The Network Engineer performs customer support activities for data communications equipment and networking system products. 

 

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Using detailed engineering guidelines perform on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair and advanced configuration of wide area and local area networking products.
  • Perform unsupervised installation and integration of component level devices as well as advanced systems oriented applications.  
  • Knowledge of operational systems must be broad with the ability to learn communication systems and concepts to significant depth.
  • Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services.
  • Participate in technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.
  • Assist in the development of formal sales proposals.
  • Set-up and operate equipment for customer demonstrations and evaluations.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.
  • CCNA & CCDA Certification Required
  • New hire must obtain certification within first year of employment.
  • Experience 2+ years internetworking experience.
  • Cisco/Microsoft/Other product experience and/or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis are preferred.
  • Network Planning, Implementation and Operational background is preferred.
  • Pre-Sales experience preferred.
  • In training process to acquire baseline SE skills, specifically switching, routing/routed protocols and IP.

Job Summary:  The Senior Network Engineer is a multifaceted position requiring three primary activities with responsibilities in pre-sales system and network design, network implementations, and customer technical support. 

 

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Design, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain local and wide area networks of diverse computer systems. Ability to configure network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, content networking, and voice and video applications from multiple vendors. Assigned projects are diverse in nature requiring initiative and judgment in determining appropriate solutions as well as significant knowledge in all aspects of local and wide area data and telephony communications in addition to other closely related technologies.

  • Management, performance and completion of major new projects. May be asked to perform responsibilities of a Project Manager to include overseeing all preparation and data collection for new major projects.

  • Provide technical assistance to marketing/sales in the design and integration of customer applications relating to complex computing and communication systems.

  • Provide technical support to sales staff in determining possible application of company products to meet customer requirements.

  • Provide technical support to maintenance and implementation staffs in defining network and product applications.

  • Analyze vendor product specifications and evaluates product performance as well as network operations

Systems Engineer and Analyst

We currently are looking for self-motivated individuals to expand our support to the Missile Defense Agency, Department of Defense and other federal government agencies. We are searching for several individuals with a wide variety of skill and experience in the development and acquisition of missile systems, radar/infrared sensors and/or battle management command, control and communications systems.

  • Weapon Systems Engineering. Ability to support all aspects and phases of the system engineering process including system design, development, implementation and verification. Specific disciplines desired:

    • risk assessment and analysis,

Engineer needed to support design, development and testing of a wide variety of aerospace vehicle ranging from ballistic missiles to glide bombs. Participate in detailed system engineering including: requirements generation, compliance validation and verification, integration and test, 6-DOF simulation, performance analysis and trade studies, hardware and software development, system integration, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight testing.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

Training & Support Specialist


Location(s):   Orlando, FL

Job Reports To:  Electronics Systems Manager

 

Job Summary:

Extensive travel to customer sites throughout the U.S. to provide training for the utilization of GPS vehicle tracking equipment.  During in office periods, provide technical phone and production lab support to the electronics systems group.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Train law enforcement professionals on the installation, operations, and functions of the GPS mapping software and tracking equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to coordinate training and scheduling
  • Provide Tier II technical phone support for GPS equipment
  • Provide non-skilled production lab support

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge of IT hardware and networking systems to a point of understanding general concepts and functionalities.
  • BS degree or a combination of education and experience
  • Large amount of phone experience that encompasses sales or a customer service focus  
  • Data entry work with a high level of attention to detail involved.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Associates Degree or higher in a technical field
  • Training/Technical experience
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Must be able to work under little to no supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Must be a self starter/motivated
  • GPS tracking experience a plus
  • Law Enforcement experience a plus

Travel Requirements:

  • Extensive: must be able to travel across the U.S., at least 50% of the time via car and airplane
  • Requires overnight stays and extensive time away from home
  • May work in the office 2 to 3 days per week depending on customer needs.
