SV12
Coleman's SV12 is packaged as a direct plug-in replacement for the Trimble SVee eight Plus GPS receiver module. Coleman's SV12 enclosure meets ASE vehicle shock and vibration standards. Coleman's SV12 is packaged in the same tough aluminum enclosure as the SVee Eight Plus. Coleman's SV12 is ready for installation, just bolt in place, connect an antenna and power and you have a location system. Connect a radio modem or wireless connection and you have a vehicle tracking solution.
The SV12 allows for flexibility and ease of integration with two user-configurable serial input/ output (I/O) ports. The user has a choice of three protocols:
The user can configure output protocols for either port as well as configure either port to accept RTCM SC-104 differential corrections for 2-meter accuracy. The user can configure NMEA or TAIP message output rates. The TSIP data messages are output once per second. TSIP command messages are used to configure port protocols and to store port configurations in non-volatile memory. The SV12 can report antenna status to assure system operation.
